Renovate OTF, is on a dust-free, odorless, easy-to-apply granule. Remove unwanted weeds along shorelines, dock and swimming areas for one year or longer by spreading the granules over the weed infested areas. The granular formulation is effective at any water depth. Renovate OTF stays on target and eliminates unwanted lake weeds. Apply 2.5 to 5 pounds/ 1,000 square feet, using the higher rate where more weeds are present. For best results, make three equal applications 8 to 12 hours apart.

Example: 100 ft x 20 ft = 2,000 square feet
• Use a total of 5.5 pounds for a light infestation or 7.5 pounds for a heavy infestation in 2,000 square feet.
• Application 1: 2 pounds Renovate OTF
• Application 2: 2 pounds Renovate OTF
• Application 3: 1.5 pounds Renovate OTF

Q.	How much Renovate OTF do I need to apply?
A.	How much you need to apply depends on the size of the area you are trying to treat. As a general rule of thumb, 10 lbs of Renovate OTF treats up to 4,000 square feet. For a heavy infestation, 15-20 lbs are needed for 4,000 square feet. Use these guidelines to calculate how much you will need for your treatment area.
Q.	How do I apply Renovate OTF?
A.	You can apply Renovate OTF by using a hand fertilizer spreader. This can be purchased at your local hardware store. An alternative method of application would be to use a pair of waterproof gloves and evenly distribute the granules by hand over your target area.
Q.	What if waves disturb my application area?
A.	It is beneficial to apply the product when water movement is at a minimum. Apply during the week or when water is at its calmest. You will want to split your application into three doses and apply both morning and evening. It is necessary to split the Renovate OTF treatment into three equal applications 8-12 hours apart. This will help keep the concentration of Renovate OTF in the targeted area for a longer period of time making it much more effective.
Q.	How often do I have to apply Renovate OTF?
A.	Applications will most likely need to be made each spring to combat newly formed weeds. Application rates will decrease each season, as the number of weeds growing back decrease after each use of Renovate OTF.
Q.	Do I need a permit to apply Renovate OTF?
A.	In most states, a permit to apply a herbicide to public waters is necessary. Please check with your SePRO Lakeshore Advisor for more help or contact your local county extension agent, department of natural resources, or department of environmental conservation for more information.
Q.	How fast does Renovate OTF work?
A.	You should be able to notice changes in the plants within 30 days after application.
Q.	Should I keep my pets away from the water during treatment?
A.	It is not necessary to keep pets away from the treatment area. Renovate OTF is non-hazardous to fish, pets and the local wildlife.
Q.	What if I don’t need a whole bag?
A.	Renovate OTF comes in a re-sealable bag. If you do not need the whole bag, simply reseal the bag and make sure it is not stored in a damp or moist area or the product will clump together. This will make it less effective for future treatments.
Q.	Can I irrigate after an application of Renovate OTF
A.	Renovate OTF has a 120 day irrigation restriction.
Q.	If I use aquatic weed and algae control products will they harm my fish, pets or the local wildlife?
A.	Herbicides labeled for aquatic use are non-hazardous to fish, pets and the local wildlife when used in accordance with the product label. Problems, should they occur, are caused by misuse of herbicides, such as: • Exceeding recommended label rates • Exceeding application recommendations • Using products not labeled for aquatic use
